On February 21, 2009 that coincided with the day Saturday, I along with representatives from Aris Lesmana as Mugi Bandung gave a public lecture at the senior class of 2005 majoring in Computer Science UPI (Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia) Bandung. It also participates pack Sony Setiawan. This public lecture is a follow-up seminar event which was held on campus along with Mugi UPI Bandung. This is our commitment to follow up activities after the seminar and this is fully supported by the relevant dean of the pack Ilkom Henry who invites us to give a public lecture.
Students who attend the class of 2005 majoring in this Ilkom about 100 people. Party wants Ilkom courses after graduating college students can least bear the MCP certification. This can give them a wider opportunity in finding employment, especially for those who want to work abroad.
In this public lecture I explain about what microsoft certification, why have certified, comparisons with certifications from other vendors, the types of certification tracks, resource-learning resource that can be used, but it also here I discuss a little about Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT ) because they were a teacher candidate and have the opportunity also for a career as an MCT. I also discuss a little about the MVP to provide insight to them.
Aris Lesmana my colleagues describes how technically to take the certification, registration procedures, testing centers, after finishing the test procedures, procedures for the implementation of the exam and the examples / demo exam questions.
There is one thing we need to know that this time Microsoft issued a new type of matter that is performance-based exam. So far, we know the exam with questions like single choice, multiple choice and drag n drop with the number of questions around 40-60. With Performance-based exam, we are given a direct interface that resembles the case / matter in question. Suppose we take the exam on Vista then the problem we face is really look or interface windows vista, so the test participants had to answer because by interacting directly with these interfaces as in our own computers so that the answer is no longer a single choice, multiple choice or drag and drop. Maybe in a few months or one year ahead microsoft already widely use this type of exam. With this type of exam questions is not as much as that encountered over the years.
